Accounting, Genealogy, and Transactions
Users can define any number of Transactions to represent their
business processes, and all Transactions will fall into 1 of 3 general categories:
One-To-One, Conversion (Many-to-One), and Splitting (One-to-Many). Plenish's
unique accounting system
keeps track of all inventory quantities and genealogy, regardless of the number
of levels of conversion or splitting that have occurred. Therefore, material can be combined during
manufacturing, then primary packaging, then secondary packaging, shipped,
returned, split, and
split again, and the system will automatically take care of the accounting and
genealogy.
Plenish provides an easy to use utility to track the genealogy
of any inventory item in its database. That is, the system can automatically
determine all direct predecessors, direct descendants, or relatives for any
inventory record selected by the user.
