Quick Installation and Configuration
All customers use exactly the same Plenish
client application, and all configuration is performed on the Microsoft SQL
Server® back-end. This powerful
architecture is the best arrangement for easy installation, customer support,
and system upgrades, while still providing all of the extensive features of a
standardized enterprise database system
to write custom routines. By following a few simple rules, a new
configuration can be set up quickly that includes user specific Transactions,
data fields, and new functionality.
Plenish is specifically
designed to coordinate data maintenance with routines in
Microsoft SQL Server®,
so nearly any sort
of additional functionality can be implemented. For example, client
specific routines
routines can be created to perform specialized data integrity checks, send email
notifications, restrict certain data
input/changes to specific users, or automatically generate data for some
fields. If problems are encountered in the database, transactions can be
'Rolled Back' or cancelled, and a custom message can be sent back to the Plenish
user that explains why they cannot proceed.
