PlenishTM
Reports and Labels
A very powerful database reporting tool is integrated into the
Plenish system. This utility is very similar to other common database reporting
tools (e.g. Microsoft Access® report writer,
Crystal Reports®, etc.), but it is much
easier to use.
The reporting utility can be used to present database data in
any sort of formatted document including transaction reports, approval documents, status
labels, work orders, inventory expiration reports, reconciliation reports, etc.
The formats for these reports are completely flexible, so your existing reports
can usually be translated nearly identically into the Plenish system.
The system can also be setup to automatically generate
specific reports from within various areas of Plenish, based on the transaction
the user is currently working with, or the genealogy the user is currently
tracking. Therefore, the reports are readily available when the user needs
them.
Our offline reporting application, PlenishPrint, is also available to
automatically generate formatted Plenish reports or execute saved queries,
without having a user logon to the system. This utility can be invoked
programmatically from third party applications to automatically create a Plenish report
or export data.
Therefore, reports and queries can be executed on a regular schedule, without intervention
from the user.
